Ukrainian authorities have begun a criminal investigation into whether President Trump's supporters were spying on the former US Ambassador, Marie Yovanovitch, before she was dismissed from her post by the Trump administration.
The former envoy's movements were being monitored, according to letters, phone records and flash drives obtained from Lev Parnas, an aide to Mr Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
