UK Government expresses disappointment over US extradition decision

The UK government has expressed its "disappointment" over the United States' decision to turn down an extradition request for a woman who is to be charged with causing the death of a British teenager.

19-year-old motorcyclist Harry Dunn died after a crash in the East Midlands of England in August. The suspect, Anne Sacoolas, wife of an American intelligence officer, left immediately for the US under diplomatic immunity, and has not returned since.

The announcement marks "one of the darkest days in the history" of the so-called special relationship between the UK and the USA, according to the Dunn's family spokesman.

Benji Hyer reports from London.
