Hundreds of thousands of mourners thronged the streets of Tehran on Monday, bidding farewell to Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani. He was killed by US forces in a drone attack in Iraq on Friday. The assassination, which was ordered by President Donald Trump, has significantly escalated tensions between Washington and Tehran.
