India's leading opposition party - the Indian National Congress asked other opposition parties to meet on Monday, to discuss the current political situation in the backdrop of the student protests and the newly-passed citizenship law
Protests have been on-going for more than a month with students and activists calling the law unsecular.
This will be the first such meeting of the political parties regarding the citizenship law.
