SNP SCOTLAND MAJORITY RAMPS UP PRESSURE FOR SECOND INDEPENDENCE REFERENDUM

The Scottish National Party has secured a significant majority of seats in the country, securing 48 Westminster MPs.

The party leader, Nicola Sturgeon, will hope this gives her a mandate to demand a second referendum on independence for Scotland.

But Prime Minister Boris Johnson, whose Conservative Party won a landslide, says he'll not allow it.
