Intro
Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan are inching closer to an agreement over a controversial dam project on the Nile River which has prompted Washington to intervene.
Talks in the U.S. capital are scheduled for January 13th with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and World Bank President David Malpass - in a bid to overcome their differences over the Grand Renaissance Dam.
