JOHNSON AND VARADKAR TO HOLD BREXIT TALKS

The British and Irish leaders are meeting in England (later Thursday) for Brexit talks.

It's seen as one of the final chances to make progress towards a possible deal.

The European Union has continued to insist that British proposals don't amount to the basis for an agreement.

Boris Johnson and Leo Varadkar's talks come days ahead of a crucial EU summit.

Conservative MP and former Northern Ireland Secretary James Brokenshire says it's a crucial moment.
