The French foreign minister Jean-Yves le Drian has cancelled plans to attend France's Euro 2020 qualifying game against Turkey on Monday night in Paris, amid controversy over Turkey's offensive in Syria, which France has strongly condemned.
The match will take place among heavy security, with thousands of Turkish supporters expected.
