BREXIT TALKS 'TO ENTER TUNNEL'

EU member states have agreed that negotiators should enter into more intensified Brexit talks.

It's a possible sign of progress towards a deal after UK Brexit Secretary Stephen Barclay met EU chief negotiator Michel Barnier in Brussels.

Boris Johnson's UK government has promised Britain will leave the EU on October 31st.

The intensified Brexit negotiations come ahead of a crucial EU summit in Brussels next week.
