Uganda Signs Nuclear Deal with Russia

Intro;


The Government of Uganda has signed an agreement with the Russian Federation to cooperate in the use of Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Purposes.

 

The deal signed in Vienna, Austria, at the sidelines of 63rd International Atomic Energy Agency Conference, focuses on the development of nuclear infrastructure in Uganda for industrial, healthcare and agricultural use.
