The United Nations Security Council is slated to hold a rare meeting on Kashmir two weeks after India stripped the region of its autonomy.
The meeting is being held at China's behest- an all weather ally of Pakistan.
India and Pakistan both stake claim to Kashmir in full but govern only parts of the region.
