Five days after a complete information blackout was put in place in Indian administered Jammu and Kashmir, officials suggest that the restrictions have been eased to some extent.
Internet and phone lines have been shut in Kashmir prompting criticism of the government's move- however New Delhi says the measures are necessary for the security of the region's population after Parliament ratified the revocation of Kashmir's special status.
