The United States has ended oil sanctions waivers for eight countries importing from Iran.

South Korea says it will lobby Washington 'at all levels' to continue importing oil from Iran.
But Seoul did say it would only do that until next month's waiver deadline.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the waivers end May second, no exceptions.
Pompeo said the U.S. wants to deprive Iran of funds it's used to destabilise the Middle East.
South Korea is heavily dependent on foreign oil, and it's looking for alternatives.
But some analysts suspect the move could strain ties with Washington.
