Notre Dame Cathedral fire latest

OPTION 1: SPIRE COMPETITION
French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe has announced an international architects' competition to rebuild the spire of the Notre Dame Cathedral. 

It's still not known how much it will cost to rebuild the fire ravaged Gothic monument.

But the Prime Minister has promised that all financial donations will be spent on the re-construction.

OPTION 2: FIREFIGHTERS SECURING BUILDING
French firefighters are continuing to assess the Notre Dame Cathedral following a huge fire on Monday. 

It comes as Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced an international architects' competition to rebuild the spire of the grand building. 

French President Emmanuel Macron has promised the Notre Dame will be rebuilt within 5 years.
