According to North Korean media, Pyongyang wants someone more careful and mature in communicating.

A North Korean official said the Hanoi summit showed talks could go wrong whenever Secretary Pompeo pokes his nose in.

President Trump and Kim Jong-un abruptly ended their summit in Hanoi without a deal.

Shortly before criticizing Pompeo, North Korea claimed to have tested a new tactical weapon.

It's unclear what kind of weapon.

But Kim Jong-un appears to be losing his patience.

Last week, he said Washington has until the end of this year to offer mutually acceptable terms to keep diplomacy alive.
