CYCLONE IDAI DEATH TOLL GROWS

At least 300 people are confirmed dead in Zimbabwe and Mozambique after Cyclone Idai - with the death toll expected to climb far higher.

Rescuers are still struggling to reach thousands of survivors in Mozambique, where the port city of Beira has been completely devastated.

Doctors say disease is a huge threat because of a lack of clean water and food.

Beira was struck by Idai last week but the scale of the disaster has been slow to become clear due to difficulties reaching affected areas.
