UK Prime Minister Theresa May has written to the European Council President, asking for an extension to the Brexit deadline date.
It comes after her Brexit deal has twice failed to pass through the British Parliament.
The country is expected to leave the EU on 29th March - but the Prime Minister is now proposing an extension until June 30th.
