US and Chinese trade negotiators have begun talks in Beijing to try to resolve the trade war, before a 90-day truce ends next month when the US will raise duties on $200 billions dollars of Chinese products.
US President Donald Trump is reportedly weighing a 60-day extension of the deadline to give negotiations more time.
