Harvard's admission policy on trial in federal court over allegations of discrimination

Is Harvard University's admissions policy unfair to Asian American applicants? 


In a federal trial that began Monday in Boston, Harvard is defending its admissions policy against accusations of discrimination filed by the nonprofit group Students for Fair Admissions.


The trail could have far-reaching consequences for higher education, and civil rights legislation.
