UN human rights chief says US border policy of separating children from parents "unconscionable"

United Nations officials have weighed in on the United States' controversial border policy of separating children from their parents. 

UN human rights chief Zeid Ra'ad al Hussein called the policy "unconscionable" and urged the U.S. to end it immediately.

UN Secretary General Antonio stressed that family unity must be preserved.
