UK central bank chief: Brexit cost households $1B

The governor of the Bank of England has claimed Britain's decision to leave the European Union has meant households are more that one billion dollars poorer than they would have been otherwise. 

Mark Carney said the UK's relative slowdown compare to other top economies since 2016 has held the country back.
