Syria: Vote expected on rival UN chemical weapons resolutions

The United Nations Security Council is preparing to vote on launching
a new inquiry into chemical weapons use in Syria.

However, despite this past weekend's alleged attack that killed more
than 40 people, the prospects of success in the Council are slim.
