PENCE: 'Absolutely mission accomplished', high confidence Assad used chemical weapons


The U.S. Vice President has joined a chorus of approval from the Trump administration over the allied strikes against Syria's chemical weapons infrastructure.

Three separate sites were targeted by over 100 cruise missiles launched by the US, France and the UK, early Saturday morning.

The mission was in response to last week's suspected poison-gas attack on a rebel-held suburb.

Mike Pence, was filling in for President Trump  at the Summit of the Americas in Lima, said the mission was a success but stressed America's primary goal in Syria remains the defeat of ISIS...
