Boris under fire for remarks about origin of nerve agent in spy poisoning case

British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has been accused of misleading the public after wrongly claiming in a television interview that experts from the military facility at Porton Down had identified the source of the nerve agent that poisoned a former Russia spy and his daughter as coming from Russia.

The row comes after the head of Porton Down said in an interview that the laboratory could not definitively say that the nerve agent had come from Russia, prompting Moscow to call an emergency meeting of the world's chemical weapons watchdog, the OPCW.   From London, Catherine Drew reports.
