British Home Secretary has called the attempted murder of a former Russian spy and his daughter in Salisbury a "brazen and reckless" act.
In a statement to the House of Commons, Amber Rudd said Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia remain unconscious and in a critical condition in Salisbury hospital.
The former Russian military intelligence officer and his daughter were poisoned by a nerve agent on Sunday.
Amber Rudd said police have launched a wide ranging investigation to find those responsible and early speculation is not helpful.
