A former employee of one of Russia's so-called online "troll factories" provided new evidence on Moscow's subversive activities targeting US social network users ahead of the US 2016 elections. The interview, published by the American NBC News TV channel, seems to prove the US intelligence community claims that a "close ally" of Russia's President Vladimir Putin was behind the misinformation campaign against the West.
