Indian leader announces 100 million bounty for makers of controversial Bollywood film

Right wing groups in India are up in arms about a new Bollywood movie that purportedly depicts a Hindu queen being courted by a Muslim ruler.

A leader of Prime Minister Modi's party, the BJP, has also announced a 100 million bounty on the heads of the director and lead actor of the film for insulting Hindu sentiments.

The BJP has since distanced itself from the comment and asked the leader to apologise.
