BREXIT BILL GOES FOR COMMONS SCRUTINY

Britain's controversial EU withdrawal legislation is entering line-by-line scrutiny at the House of Commons

MPs have put forward hundreds of amendments to the government's controversial Brexit bill.

The government says it is necessary to ensure a smooth Brexit.

Critics say it amounts to a power grab.

The SNP's Stephen Gethins says when it comes to it - he will vote against the legislation.
