UN: Rohingya refugees trapped at border awaiting entry to Bangaldesh

INTRO:

The United Nations has said that 7,000 Rohingya refugees have been
admitted into Bangladesh after days of being stranded at the border.

The situation at the Myanmar border has been called a textbook example
of ethnic cleansing by the UN human rights commission - with nearly
600,000 people forced from their homes in recent weeks.

Our UN correspondent Laura Cantekin reports from headquarters in New York.
