Taj Mahal at the centre of political row in India

Critics have accused the Hindu nationalist BJP government of trying to sideline the Taj Mahal.

The Taj Mahal is the seventh wonder of the world and the opposition claims that the BJP government is deliberately ignoring the monument because it was built by Muslim rulers- a charge the BJP has denied.
