Pres. Trump signs health care executive order

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order which he insists will increase competition in the insurance markets and lower costs for American consumers.

Blaming the U.S. Congress for failing to repeal and replace Obamcare - the legislation originally named the Affordable Care Act - the American president insists he has to take matters into his own hands.

Insurance markets are limited to states, due to the commerce clause in the U.S. Constitution, but U.S. President Donald Trump is trying to figure out a way around that.
