U.S. President Donald Trump is again raising false claims, trying to distract from how his own administration is doing.
He's both tweeted, and now publicly insisted, the big Russia story is about the sale of a share of a Canadian company which involved processing American mined uranium, and not any suggestion Moscow colluded with his campaign to influence Election 2016.
The claim about the uranium firm's sale has been debunked repeatedly, but that doesn't work for U.S. President Donald Trump, who wants it to be about his former rival Hillary Clinton.
