Chief of Staff Kelly defends Pres. Trump

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly took to the podium in the briefing room to defend U.S. President Donald Trump's response to the deaths of four Americans in Niger.

He spoke of how the military informs immediate families that a son or daughter, husband or wife, has been killed in combat. 

And sharing his own personal experience about losing his own son, General Kelly told reporters about what the American President said and what it mean to the family of Sergeant Johnson.

Chief of Staff Kelly reserved his fury for Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, who was present when U.S. President Donald Trump called the Johnson family.

John Kelly is a retired General in the U.S. Marine Corps and explained that Americans enlist in the U.S. military because they want to serve their country and that's what Sergeant La David Johnson and three others were doing in Niger.

But Chief of Staff Kelly also reserved criticism for his boss, Donald Trump.

It was during the Republican party political convention, when then candidate Donald Trump who made an issue of the Khan family, who lost a son in Iraq.
