The death toll in Florida from Hurricane Irma has risen by five after residents of a nursing home that lacked power for air conditioning were found dead, and others ill from heat stress.
Florida has one of America's largest concentrations of elderly and many of those need significant medical support, especially cool air.
About half of Florida still doesn't have electricity to power air conditioning, and it's one of the factors that Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Paul Ryan is waiting to hear more about on repair estimates as he works on legislation to fund relief efforts.
