The UK Prime Minister Theresa May has sought to break the deadlock in Brexit negotiations using a speech in Florence Italy, in which she outlined a number of proposals.
The Prime Minster promised there would be a financial settlement when it came to the UK's divorce bill after Brexit and spoke of a transitional period after the UK leaves the bloc in 2019.
