Kingfisher tycoon Vijay Mallya reported to have diverted funds to shell companies

Controversial Indian tycoon Vijay Mallya - best known for his Kingfisher brand - is reported to have allegedly diverted hundreds of millions of dollars into shell companies. 

Indian authorities are trying to extradite him from the UK to recover debts owed to banks.
