Barack Obama speaks out on health care bill

Former U.S. President Barack Obama, in a rare return to American politics, is speaking out about his frustration with how much effort is being put into repealing his signature policy, the Affordable Care Act.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has indicated he wants to bring a new bill, the Cassidy-Graham Act, to the floor for a full vote, but only if there is enough support to pass the legislation to repeal and replace the legislation nicknamed "ObamaCare."

At an event sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on public health, Barack Obama admitted he is frustrated by the political energy being spent to turn back progress.
