International leaders continue to condemn the situation in Myanmar.
Fleeing violence, some 400,000 Rohingya Muslims are now in Bangladesh.
The UN has called the situation catastratrophic, and Myanmar's effective leader Aung San Suu Kyii has cancelled her trip to the United Nations General Assembly to deal with the crisis.
In a newly released statement, the U.S. and Malaysia, "urged the Myanmar government to end the violence against innocents and ensure that humanitarian relief reaches victims immediately."
White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed Myanmar came up during talks between the American president and Malaysia's Prime Minister.
