US restates commitment to Japan as North Korea threat grows

The top US general has restated America's commitment to Japan amid regional tensions over North Korea.

U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Joseph Dunford said the US had made clear to North Korea that "an attack on one is an attack on both of us."
