US Navy suspends part of search efforts off Singapore, identifies missing sailors

The US Navy has suspended search and rescue efforts for missing sailors of the USS John S MCain in areas east of the Straits of Malacca and Singapore.


The search and recovery efforts will continue inside flooded compartments of the guided-missile destroyer, damaged after its collision Monday with a merchant vessel off the Singapore coast.
