British Prime Minister Theresa May says a major national investigation is needed into the use of cladding in high-rise buildings. It comes as 95 buildings have failed safety tests following the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy in west London in which at least 79 people died earlier this month.
The buildings are in 32 local authority areas across England. Downing Street said such an investigation could come in a second phase of a public inquiry
Britain's defense secretary Michael Fallon said the government is committed to making sure every contributing factor of the tragedy is fully investigated.
