President Trump announces revising Obama's 'one-sided' Cuba deal

US President Donald Trump says he is cancelling his predecessor's deal with Cuba.

Speaking at an event in Miami Florida, Trump announced revisions to Obama's 2014 policy which began the normalisation of ties between the former cold war foes for the first time in over 5 decades.

Trump had campaigned on a promise of addressing what he called a bad deal and on Friday announced stricter travel restrictions and a limitations on money flows from US companies to businesses under the control of the Cuban Military.
