US lawmakers urge Pres. Trump to take care

American lawmakers are urging U.S. President Donald Trump and more broadly the White House to take care, especially with intelligence.

The Congressional intelligence committees want to see transcripts of the meeting between President Trump and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Representative Adam Schiff is the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.

The White House says it was wholly appropriate for the President to share intelligence,  but in an interview with MSNBC, the 24-hour news channel, Senator Chris Coons, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, repeated what many lawmakers are saying, that this is wrong.

At an event at the Center for American Progress, Representative Adam Schiff indicated he is disappointed that President Trump appears to be trying to govern via tweet.
