Syria and its ally Russia have lashed out at the US over Thursday's airstrike near the Syrian-Jordanian border that reportedly killed several pro-regime soldiers.
US officials said US warplanes struck the convoy as it neared a military base occupied by US and British forces, after warning shots were ignored.
