Russia celebrates the 72nd anniversary of the 1945 Soviet troops' victory over Nazi Germany. The historic event, in which many Russians take special pride, has long been used by the Kremlin to rally support for the state. This year's military parade on the Red Square showcased nuclear missiles and new Arctic military hardware. But one of the highlight features - Russia's advanced military jets were missing.
