Emmanuel Macron will be inaugurated as French President on Sunday, after winning 66% of the vote in the second round of the French Presidential elections.
The centrist, pro-Europe candidate beat opponent Marine Le Pen of the far-right Front National party in the run-off, and has vowed to unite France.
But, as our correspondent Elena Casas reports from Paris, despite Marine Le Pen winning only 34% of the vote - her anti-EU and anti-single currency pledges, hit a chord with many in the country.
