MAY U-TURNS AS POLLS TIGHTEN

UK Prime Minister Theresa May has performed a major pre-election U-turn, as polls suggested opposition Labour are closing the gap on her Conservative Party.

Mrs May is adapting a manifesto pledge on social care, while trying to re-focus attention on Brexit.
