Jean-Michel Basquiat's painting breaks records after auction sale of $110.5 million

The late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat's painting of a skull has sold at
auction for over $110 million.

There was shock at Sotheby's in New York on Thursday when Basquiat
became the first American artist and the first black artist to break
records with a price upwards of $100 million.
