Ford To Cut Nearly 10% of N. America and Asia Workforce

Ford has announced that it will be cutting nearly 10 per cent of its workforce in its North America and Asia Pacific divisions.

The carmaker said the cuts would come through voluntary buyouts and early retirement packages -  it's been under pressure to improve its profits amid a sinking stock price.
