CONSERVATIVE MANIFESTO PROMISES IMMIGRATION CURB AND SOCIAL CARE CHANGES

The UK Conservative Party is promising to curb immigration if it wins June 8th's general election.

It's proposing raising charges for companies which hire non-EU immigrants for skilled jobs - using the revenue to train UK workers.

And the party's manifesto launch also contains plans to revamp social care in the UK.

Opposition Labour revealed a tax-and-spend manifesto earlier in the week, with extra funding for health and schools.

Ashleigh Carroll says the Conservatives are promising to focus on the rising costs of social care.
